IBEW Local 223 Business Manager and Financial Secretary Doug Nelson made his debut on today’s episode of the AWF Union Podcast. He discussed how Local 223 members are training to install electric vehicle charging stations. He also discussed other parts of the infrastructure bill and how they will help Massachusetts. Lastly, he talked about an offshore wind project and the work it will bring Local 223 members.
Also featured on today’s episode was Ohio AFL-CIO President Tim Burga, who spoke about the Ohio Supreme Court, who will hear arguments related to a lawsuit that alleges the state’s new election map is gerrymandered. He also spoke about the $11 billion earmarked for Ohio from the infrastructure bill.
