Womble went into detail on some of the main issues with the proposed legislation and what proponents are attempting to do to attack organized labor.

She shared some of the positive resultsand how the new members are changing the union.

AFL-CIO Director of Government Affairs Bill Samuel joined the America’s Work Force Union Podcast and spoke about the battle to raise the debt ceiling. He also discussed the likelihood that Julie Su would be approved as the U.S. Department of Labor Secretary and what could happen if the Senate does not approve the nomination.
